Our beautiful Taychreggan Hotel is a deeply relaxing and secluded 4 star Scottish country house hotel, beautifully situated on the shores of Loch Awe, near Oban in Scotland.

Originally a humble cattle drover's inn, it has been tastefully updated and the view through the windows over the water is superb.  Surrounded by mountains, loch Awe, forests and an abundance of wildlife, Taychreggan makes a perfect venue for the walker, fisherman, cyclist or photographer and don't forget the romantics among you, we are also the perfect romantic desitination and hold regular weddings here.

Activities

Not a castle, not a grand house, Taychreggan is still a white washed Highland inn, just as it has been for generations. Roaring fires, cosy rooms, overstuffed armchairs and some of the finest food in Scotland greet guests after a long day's journey.
