Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Taychreggan rests on the shores of Loch Awe in Argyll, the longest inland
loch in Scotland.
Still unspoilt, renowned for its trout and pike fishing, we at Taychreggan have the most stunning views of the loch and the mountains beyond. At the far end of the loch just past Inashail Island are the ruins of Kilchurn Castle.
For your special day, whether it be a small wedding and reception or something slightly larger, we have the setting, the history and the magic touch.
Scottish Wedding Ceremony
There are two categories of Marriage in Scotland: civil weddings and religious. Either Scottish wedding ceremony can be performed at our hotel.

House & Grounds
Taychreggan has the atmosphere of a private house, rather than a hotel. An historic 300 year old drovers inn, it stands alone on its own bay, in 40 acres of woodland and gardens.
It recently underwent a major refurbishment program.
Inside the house or in the gardens overlooking Loch Awe, we
at Taychreggan can make your Argyll wedding day a magical one.
