The only place to spend Hogmanay is Scotland and if you are going to be in our lovely country then Taychreggan is the luxurious way to see in 2013.

Our three day package offers 5 course dinners each night, bed and breakfast and afternoon teas.  Celebrate in style with us and our local ceilidh band to rouse even reluctant dancers into having a go! Top the night off with a piper, fireworks and traditional stovies.  Prices start from £499 per person for the whole package in one of our beautiful standard rooms.

Sunday 30th December

Afternoon Tea with our homemade scones and shortbread served in the lounge between 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Taychreggan Cocktails in the bar whilst you mingle with your fellow guests between 7.00pm - 7.30pm

Candlelight Dinner in our restaurant where you can enjoy five courses by candlelight.  Seatings between 7.30pm - 8.30pm.

Coffee in the lounge or bar whilst enjoying festive carols between 9.30pm-10.30pm

New Years Eve

Breakfast where you can enjoy a traditional scottish breakfast between 8.00am-10am

Relax and enjoy the cosiness of the house, or go out and explore Oban and the surrounding area.

Afternoon Tea with homemade mince pies, scones and shortbread served in the Lounge between 3.00pm - 5.00pm

Champagne and Canapés Reception held in our friendly Drovers Bar between 7:00pm - 7:30pm

Our Piper will lead you to dinner at 7:30pm

Gala Hogmanay Dinner served in the restaurant between 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Ceilidh Band playing until we bring in the "Bells" at Midnight with a round of Auld Lang Syne from 9:30pm

Lochside Fireworks will announce 2012 with colour and celebration!

Rest your dancing feet whilst you enjoy traditional Scottish stovies with oat cakes and then party until the "wee sma hours"

New Years Day

Champagne Brunch will start the day off in the restaurant between 9:30am - 11:00am

Kick Back and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the hotel and its stunning setting.

Pre-Dinner Drink in our friendly Drovers Bar between 7:00pm - 7:30pm

Ne'er Day Banquet with five courses in the restaurant with seatings between 7.30pm - 8.30pm

Our three day package prices are per person at the following rates:

Sonachan Master Suite £ 658.00
Two room suite with a four poster bed and spa bath and a slight east-facing loch view from the sitting room.

Junior Suites (BEST LOCH VIEWS): £ 625.00
In the original 17th Century part of hotel we have two rooms with four poster beds one room with a double loch view and another with an east facing loch view.  In the new wing of the hotel we have several junior suites all with loch views.

Superior Rooms £ 563.00
Our superior rooms are all larger and have larger bathrooms than our standard rooms and have a forest or courtyard and orangerie roof view.

Standard Rooms £499.00
Our standard rooms have smaller rooms and smaller bathrooms with views overlooking the rear of the hotel and the carpark.

This offer is based on two Adults sharing a Double or Twin bedded room and there is a single supplement of £50.00 per night.

A deposit of 50% of the total accommodation is required to confirm a reservation, this may be paid over time with the last payments by the end of November.
