Christmas at Taychreggan is just magical - hopefully there will be some snow on the ground to make the experience complete, but if not don't worry the atmosphere within the hotel will make up for the lack of reindeer!

Our wonderful three day Christmas Break starts on Christmas Eve Monday 24th December and throughout your stay you can enjoy sumptuous afternoon teas, light buffet on days that we have all over indulged along with a ceilidh band, a disco and of course our luxurious festive five course gourmet menus.   If you want to get completely dressed up then it is optional black tie for the gents with sparkles for the ladies whilst you enjoy our traditional Scottish Christmas in beautiful Argyll.

Our prices start from £390.00 per person for a standard room with supplements for superior rooms, junior suites and the master suite are available.

Our full itinery is as follows:

Christmas Eve - Monday 24th December

Afternoon Tea with mince pies, scones and shortbread served in the lounge between 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Children's High Tea served in the Drovers Bar 5:15pm - 6:15pm

Carol Service where you can let us hear your voice at the carol service at Kilchrenan Kirk between 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Candlelight 5 Course Dinner served by candlelight in the restaurant.  Optional Black tie for the Gentlemen and "Sparkles" for the Ladies between 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Ceilidh Band Join the fun of our Ceilidh band which laters turns into our disco which will play until midnight from 9:00pm - onwards

Midnight and the entertainment will come to a close, ready for an exciting day tomorrow.  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day - Tuesday 25th December

Breakfast is a traditional Scottish breakfast during which you can exchange your gifts, relax and enjoy the festivities between 8:00am - 10:00am

Pre-Lunch Gathering in the Drovers Bar for a pre-lunch get together at 1.00pm

TraditionalChristmas Lunch over 5 courses in the restaurant at 1.30pm - children welcome.

Champagne and Canapés Reception in the Drovers bar between 7.00pm -7.30pm

Evening Buffet - A light evening buffet will be served in the restaurant at 7.30pm

Festive Carols in the bar or lounge between 9.30pm - 11.30pm

Boxing Day - Wednesday 26th December

Breakfast between 8.00am - 10.00am

Explore or kick back and enjoy the rest of the day in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the hotel and its stunning setting.

Afternoon Tea with mince pies, scones and shortbread served in the lounge between 3.00pm-5.00pm

Children's High Tea served in the Drovers Bar between 5:15pm - 6:15pm

Pre-Dinner Drinks in the Drovers bar at 7.00pm

Dinner & Petit Fours - feast on our 5-course Dinner in the restaurant, before retiring to the lounge or bar with our lovely petit fours and coffee between 7.30pm -8.30pm

Thursday 27th December

Breakfast served in the restaurant between 8.00am - 10.00am

Farewell to all at Taychreggan 11:00am

Our three day package prices are per person at the following rates:

Sonachan Master Suite £580.00
Two room suite with a four poster bed and spa bath and a slight east-facing loch view from the sitting room.

Junior Suites (with the best loch views)  £477.00
In the original 17th Century part of hotel we have two rooms with four poster beds one room with a double loch view and another with an east facing loch view.  In the new wing of the hotel we have several junior suites all with loch views.

Superior Rooms £ 441.00
Our superior rooms are all larger and have larger bathrooms than our standard rooms and have a forest or courtyard and orangerie roof view.

Standard Rooms £390.00
Our standard rooms have smaller rooms and smaller bathrooms with views overlooking the rear of the hotel and the carpark.

This offer is based on two Adults sharing a Double or Twin bedded room and there is a single supplement of £50.00 per night.

A deposit of £100.00 is required to confirm a reservation.

Cancellation
Guests are respectfully reminded that a confirmed reservation constitutes a binding contract.  Due to geographical location of the hotel we reserve the right to charge in full for any cancellation unless 21 days notice in writing is given.
