A free fly fishing lesson is available to all guests.

The short lesson lasts around 1 hour, it covers the safety aspect of fishing in general followed by an introduction to the setting up of the rods and reels.

A short talk on the best flies used on loch fishing, then follows a casting lesson which is the most important part.  The guest can then practice their casting for as long as they wish.

Follow on lessons are available which include reel casting on the loch.

The cost is £60 per 4 hour lessons, boat hire is £40.  Boat hire can be shared.

The fishing season is 15th March to 6th October.  Out of season fishing can be acquired at Inverawe Fisheries about 10 miles away.
