Fly Fishing Lessons
at the Taychreggan Hotel

A free fly fishing lesson is available to all guests.

The short lesson last around 1 hour, it covers the safety aspect of fishing in general followed by an introduction to the setting up of the rods and reels ect.

A short talk on the best fly’s used on loch fishing, then follows casting lesson  which are the singularly most important.The guest can then practice their casting for as long as they wish.

Follow on lessons are available which includes reel casting on the loch.

The cost is £60 per 4 hour lessons, boat hire is £40.
Boat hire can be shared.          

The fishing season is from 15th March to 6th October.
Out of season fishing can be acquired at Inverawe  Fisheries around 10 miles away.
