Sonachan is a two room suite located in the 'new' wing. It recently underwent a total renovation.Sonachan comes with a four poster bed, a separate sitting room with sofabed, and has a slight, east-facting loch view. The bathroom has a spa tub, ideal for the honeymooner.

Dr. Johnson,  Walter Scott, Boswell, Lewis, Awe, Etive, Tromlee and Fyne.

All eight junior suites have our prime south-facing loch views and have undergone recent refurbishments with the exception of Lewis which has an east-facing loch view. Each cosy room includes a small sitting area..

The first two junior suites, Dr. Johnson and Walter Scott, have four poster beds and are located in the original 17th century part of the hotel. Boswell is also located in the original part of the house and is a front corner room featuring both south and east-facing loch views.

The last four junior suites are located in the 'new' wing and recently concluded a major renovation and refurbishment. Their spaceous new bathrooms feature separate showers and stand-alone bathtubs.

Larger rooms and bathrooms than the standard rooms. The first three rooms have been completely renovated, please note they do NOT have loch views; the first two face the courtyard and overlook the orangerie while McCaigs faces the rear of the hotel. The last two - Inverinan and Oliphant - are in the original section of the hotel: the small Oliphant has an east-facing loch view and the spacious Inverninan overlooks the front entrance.

Standards are very small rooms and baths. They overlook the
