parts of which are still inaccessible to vehicles.
St. Conan's Kirk
Sitting on Loch Awe in Awe Village is St. Conan's Kirk, a l9th century
church with a surreal mix of architectural styles--including gothic
gargoyles--and worth a look at.
Kilchurn Castle
Situated at the head of Loch Awe, Kilchurn is one of the most attractive
and photographed castles in Scotland, enjoying magnificent views of
the Loch.

Barcaldine
The oldest castle, intact and open to the public on the "The Black
Castle" Argyll mainland. Built by black Duncan. Historic, Hauted,

Forestry Commission
With various detailed maps of trails and wooded walks in the locality
the Forestry Commission offer strolls, walks and treks through some
of the most beautiful parts of the region; including Crinan Wood, Dalavich

Castle Riding Centre
Enjoy many equestrian linked activities at a picturesque location offer
routes and trails through forests, mountains and by the sea. River crossings,
