Accommodation



There are eighteen cosy bedrooms, some with four posters, and many overlooking the loch.

The hotel recently underwent a renovation programme in many of the guestrooms and common areas.

Room Rates
£55.50 - £134 per person - Bed and Breakfast or
£99.50 - £178 per person - Including Dinner, Bed and Breakfast

All rates are priced per person per night and based on two people sharing. All are inclusive of accommodation, Scottish breakfast and VAT at 17.5%. The Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rates include a five course table d'hote dinner.

Amenities
As part of our new refurbishment programme, all rooms now have flat screen TV's (limited channels), tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and are en-suite. High speed Wi-fi access is available in the common areas. Cell-phones have spotty coverage; people report best coverage is found at the far point of the jetty.

Dinner
Dinner is a five-course table d'hote served each evening in our 2 AA rosette restaurant, £44 per person.

Single Supplement
There is a Single Supplement of £30.00 per person for single occupancy.

Children
Regrettably, babies and small children are not permitted in the dining room for evening meals. We do offer a high tea menu for children. We can provide baby listening devices and also arrange a babysitter if required.

Dogs
Very well behaved dogs are allowed (although not in public areas) at a small fee of £10 per dog bed (dogs are only permitted in the Standard Rooms.)

Cancellation
Guests are respectfully reminded that a confirmed reservation constitutes a binding contract. Due to the hotel's small size, we reserve the right to charge in full for any cancellation unless 14 days notice in writing is given.

Master Suite
We have a new two room suite as a result of our recent renovation.

Sonachan Master Suite

Sonachan Master Suite
This two room suite is located in the new wing and was recently completely renovated and refurbished. It has a spaceous sitting room with a sofa bed for smaller guests. The bedroom has a four poster bed (new bed photo coming) and is complimented by an en-suite bathroom with spa bath, ideal for the honeymooner. There is a limited east-facing loch view.

Junior Suites
All eight junior suites are beautifully furnished and have the prime south-facing loch views (with the exception of Lewis that has a east-facing loch view). They all also have a small sitting area next to the window.

The Walter Scott Jr. Suite

Walter Scott Junior Suite
A Four Poster room with a prime southern facing loch view, furnished with an antique pine finish and decorated in unique lemon and blue luxurysoft fabrics. With a bright 'cottage' feel to this room, it remains a favourite with return guests. Walter Scott received a new bathroom with separate shower as part of our recent renovation.

Deluxe Four Poster Room with superb loch view and beautifully finished soft furnishings. Beautifully pointed with antiques and complete with trouser press. A perfect room in which to enjoy our ideal location. It has been recently renovated.

Named after Dr Johnson's travelling companion and commemorating their visit to Taychreggan; this corner room with double bed has double aspect loch views - one facing south and one looking east.
